BNP Paribas Rental Solutions UK launches into Traffic Management market

BNP Paribas Rental Solutions UK has announced its launch into the Traffic Management market.

As specialists in commercial vehicle contract hire, BNP Paribas Rental Solutions provides fleet consultancy expertise, access to a nationwide maintenance network and flexible financial solutions delivered through the backing of one of the world’s strongest banks. 

Traffic Management now stands alongside other specialist markets of the business including; Fuel, Waste & Recycling, Builders Merchants, Retail, Utilities and Temperature Control.

The launch into Traffic Management is marked by a partnership with new customer, and traffic management solutions specialist, A Cones Ltd. The partnership allows BNP Paribas Rental Solutions to provide A Cones Ltd with a full contract hire fleet management solution for ten 18t Mercedes Antos Impact Protection Vehicles (IPV’s).

With safety as its top priority, A Cones Ltd has enlisted Highway Care Ltd, a leading supplier and installer of highway and security road barrier systems and mobile traffic products to equip the vehicles with LED Vertical Light Arrows and SS90 Crash Cushions.

Once in service, the vehicles will be used to safely and securely close lanes on motorways and other roads so that workers can carry out repairs and maintenance. The SS90 Crash Cushions have been put in place to help absorb rear end impacts to the vehicle, protecting the lives of both workers and vehicle drivers. As a further safety feature, the vehicle is equipped with a 6-camera live and recordable system to allow workers to monitor and manage safety.

As part of the solution provided to A Cones Ltd, BNP Paribas Rental Solutions worked alongside the business to select Bevan Group and Mercedes as the commercial vehicle bodybuilder and manufacturing partner respectively.
