BNP Paribas Rental Solutions appoints Ged Mellish as Head of Operations

As specialists in commercial vehicle contract hire, BNP Paribas Rental Solutions provides fleet consultancy expertise, access to a nationwide maintenance network and flexible financial solutions delivered through the backing of one of the world’s strongest banks. 

The business prides itself on offering customers market-leading fleet management solutions and solving the unique set of challenges they face. This includes reducing operating costs, improving vehicle up-time and simplifying regulatory compliance.

In his role as Head of Operations, Ged will be responsible for introducing lean operational processes to deliver best-in-class customer experiences throughout the relationship. In addition, Ged will drive the business’ ambitious growth plans, positioning it as a leader in its chosen segments.  

Ged joins the business from Saint-Gobain where he was Regional Fleet Engineering Manager jointly responsible for the management of 3,000 heavy and light commercial vehicles, including the company’s MHE fleet leased to internal customers in the UK. Prior to this, Ged was an Engineering Compliance Manager at Canute Haulage Group.
